I have given up on email ever again being suitable for sharing publicly. Email-harvesting spiders crawl the public web, gathering email addresses and storing them in huge databases. Junk mailers use this vast database to send out rubbish about viagra, cialis, penis enlargement, penny stocks, 419 violations, phising hooks, and other get-poor-quick schemes. Poor security on most Windows PC users' systems means that a lot of them will be sending out junk mail on behalf of the junk mailers, and they won't even realise their machine is doing it. The volume of email that is unwanted is now huge. No recent estimate has put the percentage at less than fifty percent, and the problem is likely to keep getting worse.
From now on, visitors can only contact me using the feedback form below. This is less convenient than sending an email, but security and convenience are natural enemies — you can't increase one without decreasing the other.
The form is very simple. The only required field is the feedback box, but you can add your name, e-mail address and approximate location, should you wish to add something of a personality to your message. When writing feedback, please don't use HTML, just use plain text.
